Connecting the dongle step by step with a
Technicolor TC-7200
If you are on this page, connecting the dongle was unfortunately not a piece of cake for you. A more common problem that prevents connection is because the dongle is not within range of your WiFi network or your 2.4GHz WiFi signal is turned off. Follow the steps below to turn on your 2.4GHz signal.

Login Technicolor
Click on this link http://192.168.0.1 to log in via your browser such as 'Internet Explorer'.

Turn on the 2.4GHz signal
Now follow the steps in the image, and in step 4 set the 2.4GHz WiFi to Enabled and click on 'Opslaan'.

Restart the Technicolor
After these settings have been saved, restart the router by unplugging it for 10 seconds.

Restart the dongle
Remove the dongle from the smart meter (and from the socket if you use an adapter)
Connect the dongle first to the socket then to the smart meter.

Private phone
Do you use a work phone? Then try a private phone or tablet (work phones may have stricter security).

WiFi On / Off
Turn the WiFi off and on again on your phone or tablet. If your phone or tablet is connected to the internet, go to the next step.

Restart the EARN-E app
Close the EARN-E app and open it again.

Start connection process
Log in and go through the connection process in the app. During the connection process, you will be asked to access the camera and your location. You must accept this access to connect the dongle to your account.
